Requirements: Str: 17, Dex: 15, Con: 16.
Dragon Slayers are masters of the art. They specialize in the use of heavy weapons and polearms.
A Dragon Slayer always carries one of each of those weapon types. A Dragon Slayer is unable to use weapons lighter than a broadsword because of its inability to penetrate dragon scales. Dragon Slayer's wear the scales of their fallen foes. Such an example may be a plate made from the scales of a Fire Dragon for total prevention of any fire damage. Dragon scales cover every part of most good Dragon Slayers' armor.
Dragon Slayers have the ability to understand and speak the language of Dragons as well as an immunity to Dragon Fear. By level 3, any respectable Dragon Hunter has land based riding and has or is preparing to get a stable mount. At the time that a Dragon Slayer has owned and properly taken care of his steed for 1 year of his life the two form a special bond. The Dragon Slayer's mount would instantly give his life if it meant saving him.
A Dragon Slayer, from his beginning must swear never to attack any dragon of the alignment equal to his, thus if you are chaotic or lawful good, you cannot attack any dragon of that alignment. If a Dragon Slayer does happen to fell any of that type of dragon, he revokes his vows as a Dragon Slayer, drops his current equipment and converts to a fighter of equal level.
A Dragon hunter in most cases receives a Dragon Slayer sword upon reaching 5th level. The Dragon Slayer chooses one type of Dragon's overall alignment (Good-Neutral-Evil). The sword melds with the Slayer's choice. Whenever the sword comes into battle with that dragon alignment type, it does double damage to it. The Dragon Slayer does 2d6+4 damage normally. "This weapon may only be used on Drakes and Dragons"
At Level 8 a Dragon Slayer gains Priest spell progression from lvl 1 and continues on in that manor. So at level 10 you would have the spells of a level 3 Priest (max.).
A Dragon Slayer is only allowed to use spells that would aid him in his Slaying Dragons and Drakes, otherwise it is considered dishonorable, greedy, and is looked at as an extreme sin among all Dragon Slayers.
A Dragon Slayer gains experience at the same rate as the Paladin and Ranger.
